Quality Policy

CalAmp's quality policy is to develop, produce, and deliver on time products and services which conform to our customer's expectation.

Implementation of this policy requires that each function be managed to provide continual improvement to personal, product and service performance that meets internal and external customer requirements. All requirements must be clearly stated and describe what is needed. Any change in requirements must be approved.

CalAmp's quality objectives are to provide preventive measures aimed at eliminating defects and minimizing costs. CalAmp Corp.'s quality objectives are identified in the Management Review Meeting Minutes. All quality objectives are reviewed monthly by Management for suitability and revisions. The following quality objectives are considered mandatory for documentation and review:

  • Corrective Actions Responses and Completion
  • On-Time Delivery
  • Customer Returns
  • Customer Feedback
  • Product Line Yields

It is CalAmp's belief that defects are preventable, rather than an inevitable result of all processes.
