CalAmp developed specifications for the hardware, software and design for an e-business healthcare data service provider that needed a new blood glucose monitoring device. The unit transfers and uploads readings from blood glucose meters, insulin pumps and blood pressure cuffs through a home-based monitoring device that connects to the healthcare professional via a standard telephone line or serial PC connection. Now healthcare professionals can quickly and easily monitor the health of their patients.
